Providence Children’s Museum: Call for Creatives, Artists and Maker’s of all Kinds

Providence Children’s Museum invites proposals for the design and fabrication of an immersive installation for kids and their adults as part of the Museum’s new project: the Creativity Initiative. Creatives will work in collaboration with Museum staff to bring mind-blowing, playful, active, and kid-centered spaces to life. Each installation will celebrate creativity in its fullest form, from the everyday to the fantastic, provide a window into the creative process, and engage our visitors in the hands-on interactive exploration of creativity. BRUSH COAT COVER – 2019 Wheaton Biennial

Brush Coat Cover is the 4th biennial held at the Beard and Weil Galleries at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. This year we invite artists whose work challenges, explores, and celebrates the definition and history of painting as an artistic medium. We are seeking a diverse range of experimental work, collectively evoking an open-ended conversation on painting. The Beard and Weil Galleries are a vital part of Wheaton’s creative and intellectual life. Exhibitions feature work by contemporary artists in all media, as well as works from Wheaton’s extensive Permanent Collection, spanning Ancient Greece to contemporary South Africa. The mission of the Beard and Weil Galleries is to provide cultural exhibitions and programs of contemporary and historical significance with a commitment to scholarship, creativity, and inclusion. Artist submissions will also be considered for future group shows, solo shows, and visiting artist programs at Wheaton College.

Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island Call for Art

Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island provides compassionate, professional, state-of-the-art physical, emotional and spiritual care for all people facing life-threatening illness at any stage of life and in any setting they choose.

The Art Selection Committee is seeking 2D visual artists (no sculpture or wall reliefs) for solo exhibitions on the first floor designated, “The Gallery” of the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island (HHPCRI) facility located at 1085 North Main Street, Providence, Rhode Island. The Gallery is in an area of high foot traffic and viewed by everyone who visits HHPCRI. Artwork will be installed by the staff of HHPCRI and a representative of Public Art Works.

A $250 honorarium will be given to each exhibiting artist selected for the rotating gallery, and artists will receive 100% of any work sold.
